FALL 20

Dear Friends

Static modeling is an activity shared by many people around the world, of diverse nationalities, of very varied customs and beliefs, of different political affinities, of professions and economic activities of all kinds, of unsuspected cultures and lifestyles, from the south, from the north, from the east or from the west, from the coast or from the mountains, of any skin color, whether women or men, or of any age; It is a truly global activity and those who practice it are distinguished and recognized by a simple characteristic, the taste for building scale models, yes, building anything to scale.

Describing Modeling would take us a long time in addition to the contribution of many modelers; To describe it, due to the breadth of concepts that make it up, it is in my opinion impossible to do it by a single person, since each modeler lives and practices it very individually, so it is very personal; however there are aspects that go beyond individuality and become collectivity, what we all do in the same way, analogies that intermingle and create descriptive concepts of something.

So, from personal experience, I will present my experience of static modeling and the concepts that most of the modelers generally share.

Each model I build is a challenge, a new beginning, a new opportunity to correct the mistakes of the previous one to improve myself, it is a personal competition, nothing can describe that feeling.
